What's up friends?
I've been up to all sorts of fun since my last post. On Tuesday I had an appointment at the Oral Surgeon to see if I might need to have a tooth pulled... fast forward 45 minutes and I'm walking out of the office with an appointment for 7:45 the next morning and 4 different prescriptions I needed to get filled. Not exactly my kind of surprise. (I think the doc clued into that because as I was leaving he asked if I was going to be nervous in the morning and then proceeded to write me a prescription for percocet, ha!) So what's a girl to do when her hubby's at work and she's freaking out about a surgery she wasn't planning on having? Well I don't know about you, but my cure to pre-surgery anxiety = wine and my momma to the rescue!
{p.s. how cute is my mom?!}
Needless to say after some wine, some apps and quality time with my mom the thought of surgery in the morning was sounding a little more do-able. Today I woke up bright and early, took my percocet and left Jay with grandma as Josh drove me to my appointment. On the drive in I was texting my partner-in-crime, Kristen, and we joking about those funny videos of people as they are getting out of surgery and are TOTALLY out of it. She begged for a video and I (of course) obliged. Stick around this blog long enough and you're sure to learn that I'm not afraid to make a fool of myself. I'm confident in who I am and embrace the ridiculousness. Why am I telling you this? Because I'm about to share with you the hot mess of a video that I sent Kristen... enjoy.
Unfortunately the sh*t show didn't end there... on the way home Josh needed to go to the grocery store and I insisted on coming in with him. We, of course, ended up running into one of our friends who I insisted we take a picture with in the frozen foods aisle?!
Good Lord, look at that moonpie face!!
Anyways, I know I've gotten quite a few good laughs out of that little gem of a video and I hope you did too! Now if you'll excuse et moi, it's time for me to enjoy a milkshake from my honey!
Happy Humpday friends!

Yikes... so glad you got it over and done with! By the way, was your mom 5 when she had you?? She looks so great!!! You've got some great genes :)
Last time I was high on pain meds after a surgery I reenacted the scene from White Chicks where Terry Crews sing A Thousand Miles. I did the head weave and everything. Its a shame that video doesn't exist...
