Josh and I met while playing for the men's and women's basketball teams in college. The last thing on my mind was dating, but after hanging out with Josh for awhile my mind changed real quick!
He claims that he knew that I was "the one" before we even went on our first date, I'm not exactly sure when I realized... but one year later we were engaged!
We were married on August 22, 2008.
Our wedding day was the most beautiful and magical day of my life, I thank God daily for the amazing man that I get to call my husband and best friend.
In May of 2009 we found out that we were unexpectedly 2 months pregnant. After many miscarriage scares I was put on bed rest and determined to be high risk, my doctor told me at 24 weeks to be ready to go into labor at any time. On December 22, 2009 after many tears and sleepless nights we welcomed our sweet baby Jay into the world only one week early!
Being a mom is the most amazing thing that I have ever experienced. I'm so thankful for every day with my family and love the beautiful life we're creating together.
