...so i did.

After hearing everyone rave about Pumpkin Spice

lattes I gave in and got one. O-M-G,

they are amazing!

See, once upon a time, I used to be a complete and udder

coffee snob. I worked for a great coffee house, I made little

europian style dopios, macchiatos, cappuccinos,

you name it! I did latte art like nobody's business, we

had amazing Zoka coffee... it was the bee's knees.

Until one day the coffee shop shut down and I had no place to turn

to get coffee, except...

Starbucks was there for me when I had no place to go ;)

I'll admit it and I never thought I'd say it... But I, Britt Beahan,

like Starbucks... I really do - I like it a lot.

Except now I've got a problem.

I'm working at a new coffee shop and I'm finding myself in a pickle,

because I'd rather have Starbucks than my new coffee shop coffee!

And can I make a confession?

I've been taking my tips and going to Starbucks and getting coffee!!

It's been fine and dandy but today was the day that I got caught,

because our Starbucks just so happens to be located inside of Safeway.

But I am not ashamed! Starbucks and I had a thing before this new

cafe came to town and now that I've discovered Pumpkin Spice Lattes

there is NO turning back! :)

So that's what's up with me today.

I won the MVP trophy for my basketball team in 8^th grade

{two} what was your favorite subject in school?

My most favorite class in high school was Marine Biology and in college I loved my Elementary Education classes.

{three} what time do you get up in the morning?

Well since starting back up at the coffee shop I wake up at 5 to nurse Jay and then get ready and go *yuck*

{four} if you could open your own business, what would it be?

I would love to have a coffee shop. I have worked under a few owners managing coffee shops and have seen what did and didn’t work for each. I think I have a real feel for what makes a café successful and would love to have my own someday.

{five} if you could spend the evening with one rock star/band, who would it be?

Hmm… I think it would be fun to hang out with Gwen Steffani, she seems like she’s a hip mom who has it all together – maybe she’d give me some pointers ;)

{six} what sitcom character reminds you of you?

When I was younger I totally thought that DJ Tanner and I would have been best friends because we were practically the same person. I can’t think of anyone now…. Maybe Khloe Kardashian, I don’t think we look alike but sometimes when I watch their show I catch myself thinking, “that’s totally something I would say!”

{seven} what are the 3 most important things to you?

God, family, trust

Josh. For so many reasons.... plus he's super hot, which always helps!!

I got a text last week from Fafo that NBC was flying him out for the finale of America's Got Talent, not quite sure what to expect but that's usually how it goes with Faf!! So tune in tonight for some more ridiculousness by my friend Fafo.

Top 2 Tuesday: Things you want to accomplish

I love Top 2 Tuesday and am excited to be joining in again.

Today's topic over @ The Undomestic Momma is "Top 2 things you want to accomplish before the end of the year."

1. Get back in shape

Josh and I have been working out pretty hard for the last week and my booty is on fire!

I just need to keep it up and stay strong with the abundance of yummy fall treats @ work -- one downside of working at the coffee shop ;)

2. Go back over to Montana

Our family cabin in Montana is such a relaxing retreat and we would love to go back for a long weekend this fall. Some year I think it would be really fun to spend Christmas over there at the cabin in the snow.

Fall Favorites

I don't know about where you live but here in the Great Northwest it's beginning to feel a lot like fall. The siblings are back in school, leaves are changing, our lone pumpkin is growing in the garden, the air is crisp -I love it!!

Today my sister-in-law, Elle, left for college all the way in Pennsylvania :(

Isn't she gorgeous?!

Not only is she really really ridiculously good looking, she's super smart...

Elle was the Salutatorian for her graduating class!

Oh, and she was student body president...

*no biggie*

Did I mention that she was also the captain of the girl's basketball team?

Basically Elle is amazing.

I love her so much and am so proud of the incredible woman she is becoming. Last night we had a farewell dinner for Elle. I don't think it really sunk in with anyone until we started saying goodbye for the night that it was really goodbye until Christmas!!

This morning we met up with Elle before she got on the ferry to head to the airport.

Did I mention that Elle has a studly older brother?! ;)

2 years and counting...

Two years ago today I married my best friend. I'm so thankful for Josh and I couldn't imagine going through life with anyone else. It's been an adventure to say the least but I wouldn't trade it for the world. With each passing day I my appreciation and love for him grow and I couldn't ask for a more wonderful husband.
